ok so apparently the "winterhater" in me is surfacing today, instead of planting tulip bulbs people are shoveling their driveways. I just saw a snowplow go by. Is it me? or has winter gone on long enough already? who else is starved for warmth and sunshine?

Geeze TD, next you're going to say you don't like.. noo I won't go there;)
But no worries, the big flakes combined with the lack of wind means that this is the perfect conditions to tighten pores, making a much smoother complexion. The winter spa has returned!:D

snow....blech, i don't like it either, and we just put the canopy up on our gazebo the other day (the one we spent a crapload of money on) and Bowser started barking like crazy 10 minutes ago.
Turns out the weight of the snow collapsed our gazebo, yup the whole thing, it's a mess of wrought iron and canvas. This sucks soooo much, i'm almost in tears over the darn thing.

spring is just starting for me too but it keeps snowing on and off but atleast some stuff is starting to bloom. Personally I LOVE the snow:cloud9: But, it's been pretty much useless right now because this was like the worst snow season for where I live. all we got were some cruddy ice storms. So now its just overlasting, and honestly it is starting to annoy me. I need to start working on gardening and I'm gonna have to wait forever to be able to start planting stuff and putting down grass seed and stuff.
I'm not even as up north as :ca: you guys.

I would say most Canadians actually like winter . . . . . right through to about January 15 . . . . . that's when the novelty starts to wear off.
Unfortunately, the leaves don't come out on the trees around here until the first or second week of May.
Around Calgary, the highest snowfall months of the year are, I believe, April and May, but usually in gigantic dumps all at once.
Spring snowstorms are depressing, taking away your hope.
The snow I photographed last weekend below is already long gone.
