Some pictures from yesterday's walk. Today was rainy and windy, so yuck!
Yesterday was nice and sunny though, and Bronny went right down the hill and into the water. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!
She didn't think it was cold, I guess!
Fingal was content to stay on shore, though.
They didn't even mind the snow that was left.
The pond part is still iced over.
Fingal, running back up the hill (one of many times, lol!) to see why I wasn't down there with them.

This is why I stayed up at the top:
More pics later. Have to go now!

Awesome pics! Also if you stay at the top, the beasties get more exercise running up and down the hill. :D

Fingal definitely got way more exercise that way-he kept coming back to see me.
Bronny venturing out into deeper waters, while Fingal looks on with concern:
Some geese relocated themselves (noisily, I might add!) because Fingal wanted to make friends. Not that he could-they were out on the other side of the rocks before they flew about 200 feet downriver.
Nose at work, back up top.
"What was here?"
Bronny was fascinated by this bush:

My fav pic of the day:
A tired and happy boy (with killer toe nails :o They need trimmed, but it's such a fight they get done one at a time. Even with cookies.:p )

He's so shiny! :cloud9:
Great pics! Reminds me of when Boo was young and swam in icy water. :cloud9: :lovestruck:

I love Bronny's otter-look, too. Her fur was so wet, it looks almost like glass in the pics. :cloud9: And she was mainly dry by the time we got back to the car.
Now if only Fingal would swim, too.

:o Oh, and I could use an opinion-is it time to cut Fingal's food back a bit? :o I can't tell if he's just getting solid or blocky, or if he needs a little less weight. When I run my hand down his side, he doesn't seem fat or anything-I can still feel his ribs under there, I mean, without them sticking out or me having to do digging for them. Never had a lab before but I know they run to fat if you don't watch it with them.

"What was here?"
From this pic he looks ok... He still has a good belly tuck going on...

Great pics, Skryker! :thumbs up
Fingal looks good to me, too--blocky but not overweight. He's got that labby physique that all the girls go ga-ga for. :lovestruck:

They both look good.they must af been tired after all that.
i don't blame Fingal for staying on shore.and not being a polar bear.
That Bronny is a brave one going for that swim.

Thanks for the reassurances, guys! He does still have a waist when viewed from above, too-I just double checked.:o And Bronny has the same shape from above. Maybe they are showing some signs of their Rotti dad now-filling out in a more Rotti shape.
angeldogs, it's so funny with Bronwyn-she didn't always want to go swimming in the summer, but all winter she's been happy to get into the winter every chance she gets. Weird girl!
