OK, I got a new toy. Lots to still experiment with, these shots were just all using the auto function.

Oh, great pics, Teri!!! Is this the S3? I got the panasonic, but so far, not too impressed with it. It's probably just me, but they keep turning out blurry. The thing is wayyyy too sensitive no matter what ISO I try!

Thanks everyone :o .

Smiley, yes that's the S3. I haven't tried any of the different settings yet, that is just the way it came out of the box :D. I've gotta try reading the manual to understand some of that stuff  . I had a few blurry shots today but overall I was pretty impressed (and I love the little sound it makes when it takes the pic  ).

Beautiful, Teri!:lovestruck: Isnt it fun to experiment with a new camera?
You have some fantastic results already.:highfive:

I'm still getting poor pics with mine 3 months later (Kodak C875)
Blurry and grainy in anything but bright outdoors or anything on auto... but think I'm making a bit of headway with the manual settings. :fingerscr
The camera just has lots of limitations so far.. or else the user does.;)

What make is the S3? Not up on my cameras..:o

How lovely your Lucy and Riley are :cloud9: And Fred! Well..he just stole my heart!:lovestruck:
He is really a gorgeous and fluffy boy!

Fred says thanks so much :o . I'll have to get some Desi shots in the next few days but she usually runs from the camera :frustrated: .

The S3 is made by Cannon. I checked consumer reports and a few other reviewers (CNet etc) and they all rated it quite well :) .

Thanks Teri!! I'm going to play around more with the panasonic this weekend (trying to tell if it's me or the camera, LOL) and may just return it for the S3 if I don't get better results. Thanks for the info! :) My favorite pic is that last one of Fred! Beautiful!

Yep, that's my boy, he's full tilt the whole time. He's just 10 months old so I'm hoping this endless energy thing is not a forever phase :fingerscr .
