Okay so we took the dogs way out into the country today to run, and boy did they run. All the way home they slept and as I type they are sleeping on the deck in the sunshine. I have a feeling I am going to have some peace and quiet tonight.

On the way home we spotted these deer out in a field munching away. The snow is so deep they can just walk across the bales!!
And this little guy who was acting quite sick and leaning on the willows for support. We considered phoning Fish and Wildlife about him but they would have just shot him, so we figured we would let nature take its course.
It looks as though he had been standing their for a bit and was just too tired to move plus his body was all covered in ticks.
The snow was so deep this year a lot of animals couldn't find enough to eat or wore themselves out in the snow. Easy prey for wolves, coyotes and cougars.
