I can't find any articles yet, but I just saw on the news that lawyers are suing the Quebec government for not doing anything about puppymills...
One of the lawyers who spoke on the news was Wendy Adams, who is the head of the Montreal chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund.. (She rocks!!)
Hopefully this will do something. :fingerscr :fingerscr
Anybody have any links about it? I can't find any articles anywhere (yet)..

Awesome, Luckypenny! It was on cfcf last night, but still not on their website yet. They even have the video up now (even though it's a lot shorter than what they played yesterday... ). :highfive:
The director of an animal shelter east of Montreal is taking the Quebec government to court.
Nicole Joncas is filing suit against the minister of agriculture, for failing to crack down on puppy mills.
Joncas and her lawyers say legislation protecting the rights of animals is rarely enforced.
Lawyers are expected to present their motion in Quebec Superior Court on Thursday.
