I need help! I am wondering how to introduce my new 6 week old kitten to my other 8 month old kitten.
The 8 month old seems to like her but she keeps grabbing on to her. I'm afraid the little one will get hurt. Could someone please tell me the best way to introduce them?
Greatly appreciated.

Lets see... In a different post didn't Luckyrescue say to rub them with a towel so that their smells get transfered from one cat to another?

You could also try giving them both catnip, and spreading it on the floor so they won't notice each other as much.

Unless its a real cat fight, with furr flying, I would just let them sniff each other out.

I don't know under what circumstances you got this kitten, but 6 weeks old is too young to be away from the mother.

In any case do NOT let the other cat play with the kitten. A 6 week old baby is way too fragile and vulnernable for this, and the kitten will be hurt.

Older cats often do not even recognize such young kittens AS cats, so please keep the kitten separate until it's at least 12 weeks old and can hold it's own.

I thought it was six months !!!

Woah, thats way to young to be taken away from the mother. Did it's mother die?
