Jemma and Boo and it's WARM!!

February 26th, 2007, 10:01 PM
From today, when the wind stopped, the sun came out and it was above zero (or close to it)....

Sorry my captions are so sedate... But it was such a peaceful day...

Jemma, relentlessly looking for her daddy who didn't meet us this time...

Boo "staying close"

Matching shadows...

Doggies in the middle of nowhere...

Which path do we follow?

Each doggy gets a track..

But they go off it right away... (with synchronized feets again!)

February 26th, 2007, 10:03 PM
Sitting side by side...

Jemma on cool snow...

Boo on fluffy balcony snow...

And I'm done! Just have to load the movies now. LOL

February 26th, 2007, 10:06 PM
them are some serene pictures. Very nice "black and white" shots.:D

February 26th, 2007, 10:10 PM
Great pics Prin:thumbs up

I love the synchronized feets again and the matching shadows:cloud9:

That second last picture of Jemma is beautiful:lovestruck:

February 26th, 2007, 10:14 PM
Thanks.:) (They are black and white aren't they? lol) HO, I really like that Jemma one too. It's so contrasty. :cloud9: I didn't even do anything to it. :cloud9:

February 26th, 2007, 10:20 PM
great pics.! they pose so nicely! Im always struck by those beautiful blue eyes.

February 26th, 2007, 10:23 PM
Jemma's cool snow looks like desert sand. :cloud9:

February 26th, 2007, 10:24 PM
They do pose.:D By now they're used to it.:D

Byrd, it's practically desert snow.. With the wind on there?

February 26th, 2007, 10:28 PM
today was the official photo day! :D i much rather like where your furries are running though... sooo much space. they look awesome, as always :cloud9: how much longer can you safely go on the river, do you think?...

February 26th, 2007, 10:31 PM
A while. There are still loads of cars on the river. It's still at least a foot thick in the thinnest places.

February 26th, 2007, 10:51 PM
Ok, so after going to the dog park, getting bored, then going to the river and walking for about an hour and a half, they came home and did this:
(oh sorry for the whistling- I have to do that so Boo doesn't run away)

Buggers.

February 26th, 2007, 11:14 PM
prin's furries are on speed! :goodvibes: wow they're in shape, eh? :highfive: so tonigh they sleep tight?

February 26th, 2007, 11:16 PM
Jemma's still up. Boo's dead asleep with his feet waggling around.:D

February 27th, 2007, 12:11 AM
OMG those are some cool pics Prin! I love the "matching shadows" and the side by side pic(with one shadow)! They look great!!!!

February 27th, 2007, 12:12 AM
Thanks Copper! :)

February 27th, 2007, 05:12 AM

February 27th, 2007, 05:37 AM

February 27th, 2007, 02:53 PM
wonderful pictures like always, you seem to be able to get the right pose all the time. ok i'm jealous between you and TD and some other people on the forum with the shots color everything !!

February 27th, 2007, 06:16 PM
I loved the side by side pics :lovestruck: and the video looked like they were having so much fun. :cloud9:

February 27th, 2007, 08:01 PM
But they go off it right away... (with synchronized feets again!)

I like this one :D they look so peaceful (or bored ? ) and it's very dangerous to not shovel your patio, what if there's a fire  :D

February 27th, 2007, 08:07 PM
Frenchy, it doesn't affect whether or not we can get out in a fire. :) It's away from the door.

Thanks everybody.:) They have been having so much fun lately. It's so fun to watch... :o

Here are some from today.. It was even nicer than yesterday. Way warmer...

Boo being a show dog...

Look at the sky!! :cloud9:

Another alert Boo...

February 27th, 2007, 08:09 PM
And a couple of playing ones before my battery died...

The panther strikes!

The jaws of fury attempt to subdue the beast...

And then the panther sinks her teethies in...

And pounces again..

February 27th, 2007, 08:11 PM
Great action shots ! Is this near Labelle boul and Ste-Rose ?

February 27th, 2007, 08:13 PM
No, it's further west. Near St-Eustache/Deux Montagnes.

February 27th, 2007, 08:15 PM
Oh, btw, techno would have died if she came today... The ice cracked and there was a huge low boom. Scared the crap out of us and the dogs. The ice is still over a foot deep though, so it's safe... :o

February 27th, 2007, 09:05 PM
i'm sure i would have needed a change of underwear

my goodness these photos ROCK!! we can see who's "boss" eh? LOL poor showboo... give him a big hug from me! :goodvibes:

February 27th, 2007, 09:13 PM
lol Jemma was so happy today- Boo was tired, and Jemma found a stick, and enticed Boo into a chase. You should have seen her mood change when she realized she had the whole river to run on. Usually at home, Boo backs her into a corner and takes the stick, but there aren't any corners on the river. She must have sprinted about 2k total without Boo ever catching her. :D :cloud9:

February 27th, 2007, 09:28 PM
atta girl! she does look VERY happy! and in shape! :highfive:

February 27th, 2007, 09:34 PM
Yeah they both look so fit. Jemma also looks very shiny, she has a real sleek look:thumbs up

February 27th, 2007, 09:41 PM
Thanks.:) Jemma is in super shape. Boo... Well... Today we saw that he can't keep up with Jemma like he used to. He's still fit for a 6 year old (or 4 year old for that matter) but he's not psycho fit like Jemma...

I was telling my man today how absurd it would be to put them on senior food- they used to recommend switching to senior food at 5 years old.

February 27th, 2007, 09:49 PM
Oh how I love pics of Jemma and Boo :cloud9: I never realized how much smaller Jemma is than Boo until I see them side by Gorgeous as always Prin :goodvibes:

February 27th, 2007, 09:56 PM
they used to recommend switching to senior food at 5 years old

yeah  that's when all there was on the market was crappy purina stuff that killed your dog by age 8 or 9! :frustrated: so it made sense to "them", the scientists behind this madness. so glad there are better choices out there today! :highfive:

February 27th, 2007, 10:00 PM
Thanks Mahealani.:) Jemma is about 30lbs smaller than Boo and maybe 4-5 inches shorter... That's why she's our little girl. :cloud9:

Techno, if anything Jemma and Boo are proof that 6 year olds are NOT seniors by any definition. They're my adolescent puppies.

February 27th, 2007, 10:02 PM
they sure are! if you don't know their age, it would be HARD to guess!

February 27th, 2007, 10:04 PM
lol especially for Boo.:D He's such a brat sometimes (when he's in a bad streak), people assume he's under 2. hehe  Jemma's got such energy, she could be 1 still.

February 28th, 2007, 06:15 AM
i like the ears in the panther sinks her teeth in.good looking dogs and pics.

February 28th, 2007, 07:49 AM
Thanks for pointing that out Angeldogs, I didn't notice, but yeah Boo's ears are stood straight up:laughing: I love it:lovestruck:

February 28th, 2007, 02:40 PM
Well, of course I looooove the action shots. :thumbs up

March 1st, 2007, 01:29 AM

I thought it was funny that Boo's ears were up too. It happens far more often to Jemma than to Boo. His are normally too big to stand up....:D

March 1st, 2007, 01:51 AM
My first thought watching the video was that they sound like snorting and galloping horses! So different from 2 little poodles chasing around! Such power! Beautiful furkids!

March 1st, 2007, 01:52 AM
Thank you, Glasslass! :)

March 1st, 2007, 04:38 AM
Your welcome about the ears.I only noticed them because so used to seeing them down.or flapping in the wind.:D

March 1st, 2007, 12:47 PM
lol Maybe I post too many pics for you to be "used to seeing them" in any way.  :D

March 5th, 2007, 03:25 AM
That video was awesome :thumbs up. I also really loved the "playing" shots with panther Jemma :cloud9: and the side by side shots.
