A Tale of Two Dogs (and a kitty too)

So I got inspired to try and capture some grr grr grr pictures. I had fun! First I'll post Otis's torment. Mileva goes nuts whenever he spots him. He licks him, and fits his whole head in her mouth. Otis doesn't seem to care, most of the time.

"Hey, where ya going??"

"COMMME BAAAACK"

Otis smirking, "Not on your life buddy."

Roscoe and Mileva tearing through the house like mad. Does everyone else's doggies get their necks all slobbery afterwards? :yuck:

hehe On the last one Roscoe did have his head buried under the couch cushion. "If I don't see you, you don't exist." hehe

And here is just one of Roscoe being a shameless male version of a hussy.

His poor belly is so irritated looking. He's going to the vet on Wednesday.

And last one:

"I think I see it! Yes, THERE IT IS! CAAAAAT!"

Poor kitty!

They're so precious!

Whenever I take Willow to doggy daycare I have to take her collar off, they say it's for safety because dogs go for other dog's necks.... slobbery neck.

Wish I could have another doggy.

Hey angel, you throw 2 kids into that mix and it's constant drama. Especially when I have one that's a drama queen.

Byrd, the only thing about the fighting is the slobbery necks. It's naaasty. Now, dont' get me wrong, I don't mind my dogs licking me or whatever. But when you go to pet your dog and they have cold wet slime on their neck..... :yuck: hehe

And at least Willow gets to go to doggy daycare. That's great! Cuz she can be with other dogs during the day, but has you all to herself at night. The best of both worlds right? :thumbs up

She only gets to go to daycare once a week when there are no classes running as funds are limited due to the whole single mom thing.

I like "come on I dare ya". The expressions on both their faces, especially Roscoe's.

hehe and it looks like Mileva is sticking her tongue out at him. Although nothing beats Willow's wide eyes when she's wrestling with the dog in the other thread.

Frenchy -- I hate dried crusty neck. I'm glad mine aren't the only ones that do that.

Great pics!! :) I love the pee pants one too!

When did his belly get irritated? I hope it's not the new food. :fingerscr

No his belly has been irritated off and on since December. Originally I thought it was flea allergy, but the fleas are gone. Now I'm wondering if it isn't corn in his old food. See, he's only been completely switched for about a week now. I had heard it can take up to a month to see complete results. However, I'm going to see if the vet has any ideas. My mom's dog has the same problems and their vet told them to give Gracie benadryl. I don't want to give him anything like that w/o a vet consult. Anyway... bottom line, I doubt it's the new food. :D

Well, just don't let him convince you to change to medical or Hill's...

With Jemma and Boo, when I switched them to Wolf King from crap, it took them 4 months to adjust... But they're super ultra sensitive...:o

As long as it's not getting worse...

hehe I've been around here long enough to know better! :D It's really not worse, it's kinda better, but he still digs a lot and has a hotspot on his paw. I feel sorry for him.

When I first got Bailey it was hell to figure out his allergies. When I finally find a food he could tolerate, he still needed vanectyl to get rid of the itching.

Yeah, Jemma gets a cortisone shot to start her going... Without some sort of anti-itching thing, they just scratch and itch because of the scratching and it never ends...

Thanks Lukka'sma! It's fun to try and be creative. hehe

About the itching, I'm wondering if he needs something to stop the itching and then let it heal up. I think part of it is a vicious cycle. His tummy actually looks a lot better tonight. Anywayy....

If it doesn't get worse, maybe just some Benadryl ? Bailey licked until there was no fur, then it would get red and he would keep going at it until it bled.

I'm not sure how much to give him and definetly don't want to O/D him!

Roscoe does that on his leg. He gets a spot he will lick until it bleeds. One night I put some neosporin and wrapped a bandage around his paw. Do you know he left it on all night! :thumbs up

LOL I think it just appears that way. The dogs with the eyes lighter than their coat always seem to be wide eye'd when playing (Jemma's expressions in wrestling pics always remind me of Willow). The other dog is her littermate, Phoenix.
