It is definitely differently drawing on a computer, I am definitely old school calculators were still pretty much new when I was in high school and etch a sketch was the closest thing to drawing on a screen :p Would love to learn how to become better at as it sure is a lot less expensive than some of my other hobbies

I am not an artist but enjoy painting and creating crafts, I haven't had no formal training I just see something and plunge in a give it a try. I am sure others here are much more talented

This is a mixed media, picture shot thru the glass so there is a glare and does not show up well

That turned out great, I figure why I am having so much problems I am using a laser mouse but it is not working right some of the time the left click sticks and who knows what else as trying to make lines is impossible with it, need to buy another mouse before I stomp all over this one, heck the sun made in my background was made with the extra large mouse in one click and letting go of the mouse then it took off and made a line on it's own

Any way I have a background I cannot finish if any one to continue finishing it

Looks like the thunder-snow that went through here last night and the night before! In a stormy mood, are we, Byrd?  :p

OG--that landscape is absolutely gorgeous! I don't know what you'd want to add...I'd hang it up now... :cloud9:

Yup, well, another family dinner tonight, I hate family dinners. As they say "you can chose your friends, but not your family". Plus, I am female, and it is the end of the month and I HAVE NO CHOCOLATE IN THE HOUSE!!!! :yell:

Hey, JECM, that's beautiful! (In a frightening sort of way! ) I take it your son is going to be a geologist or a seismologist when he grows up?

Byrd--sorry about your dilemma (the no chocolate part)...that's gotta be rough...specially when you have to then meet with family without the moral support of chocolate!!! :grouphug: I feel your pain! :o

But to take a chapter from Frenchy's book, I find that a half-glass of wine helps smooth out my mood. (But don't drink too much or you'll regret tomorrow what you might end up saying tonight! :p )

But I only borrowed from your book, not copied it verbatim (which would be plagiarism  ) so I paraphrased to make it a half glass... he he he :D

and for the chocolate, that's the pic when I first got them, it's half empty now

So sorry for your loss, Frenchy :grouphug: Run to the Bridge little chocolates! Wait for us there! :p

I love your style Hazel.

Well, the family dinner went okay. The obnoxious guy was pretty quiet, his brother was there to talk to him (my nephew likes to dominate the conversation and no one else can get a word in, unless his brother is there, and then it's quiet). Basically, he's why I don't like going... the stuff that comes out of that mouth!!!!

Still no chocolate though, and I went shopping after dinner too! *slaps self on head in proper 'doh action*.

.... off to the I've Got a Hankering thread now to talk about my yummy desert. :p

:D But were you shopping at a premiere chocolate shoppe? If not, the chocolate there wouldn't have been scrumptious enough, anyway... :p Best to wait and get the really good stuff!

I think I've created a monster.

I opened about 10 links from the weekend all at once and had everyone doodling away at the same time . . . . some awesome talent on the board.
