Back Home - Virbac microchip

Does anyone know anything about this microchip?

I live in South Korea and this is the type of microchip my vet uses.

I may be bringing my kitten home to Canada in the fall and I want to be sure that the microchip I get her will work at home.

These microchip scanners are in routine use by veterinarians and municipal dog wardens all over the UK. It's the same with pet rescue and animal welfare organisations like the RSPCA and SSPCA and the Cats Protection League. Therefore wherever your pet is found, it is likely somebody will read his/her BackHome microchip.
