February 26th, 2007, 10:14 PM
oh my friends and i were at a hotel for the weekend to hang out and we were trying to be cool to impress these guys, and i forgot that there was a wall right behind me that i was previously leaning on and when i turned i hit the corner of the wall with my nose and broke it (that was high school or just before either way hilarious!)

Did you go to prom? were you happy with the decision you made about it?

i_have_too_many
February 26th, 2007, 10:21 PM
Yes, I went to prom 2 times. In my school anyone over gr 11 could go, as long as you bought a ticket. The first year (gr 11) I went with this really hot guy I worked with and I thought something might come of it, but it didnt . But that was ok because I met my hubby later that summer :lovestruck: . In gr 12 I got suspended and was not allowed to go  what a bad girl I was. In gr 13 I took my BF, who was my hubby to be. I had a great time, so I was very happy with my decisions, (well my dress the first year was not too hot :yuck: ) and I was mad I could not go in gr. 12.

OK, now what was the BEST dream you ever had?

Prin
February 26th, 2007, 10:21 PM
Noooo!! I hated my prom! My date moved away, so I got another date at the last minute, and we drove the 2 hours by bus to get to the venue and he got off the bus and they were all, "What are you doing here? You didn't fill out forms!" So instead of letting him fill out forms, they called his parents and made them come get him (did I mention it was 2 hours away?). So I was dateless at prom. They offered to refund my money, but then when it came time to pay up, they backed out. :frustrated: Baaaaad prom.

What is the strangest thing you have observed going on in someone else's car while you are driving (other car is also being driven)? G-rated

Twice I have seen women driving with cute li'l *unleashed* doggies on their laps, standing up with front paws on the steering wheel! I find it really irresponsible and dangerous! One was in a parking lot which was bad enough but the other was out on the main road where the speed limit is 70 kph!

Not. Impressed.

I will answer both this question and the one posted by Brandy.

We have not thought about it, but I guess we should esp. since we have quite a few.

Do I sing in the shower? NO, but I will occasionally while driving, my kids love it, even though I suck.

Doing an oral presentation dressed up as Santa Claus by accident in Grade 10... Or going to open the car door for a guy I had a crush on and slipping and falling UNDER the car... Or walking around for a full day with my fly wide open and everybody secretly laughing... Or... I could go on and on.
