wich is better ?

The roads are real bad here today because of the blowing snow. I am thinking about leaving work early, but I prefer when the sun is down, with the blowing snow, at least you can see the cars's lights. So the question is ; when visibility is zero because of blowing snow, do you prefer to drive in daytime or night time ? Wich one do you think is safer ?

I'm not sure which one I would think is safer. But, I know what you mean about the cars lights in front of you. That helps for sure. Atleast in the dark everything don't look white. That definitely helped me last time I drove in a snow storm.

BUt if you get stranded and it's dark out it'll be far worse, whereas if it's daylight you have more chances of there being people on the road...
