I'm looking for a Yorkie

Hi, anyone:D

My family and I have been looking for a dog, and we have decided that a Yorkshire Terrier would be best. We are looking for a young, energetic dog, who is trained, has all their shots, who is obediant, and who gets along with children. We do not mind whether it is a girl or a boy, we just want a pet to love. We live in Toronto, and are looking for someone who lives in the GTA.

I don't know how much experience you have with toy breeds, but you are asking for a lot!

Any dog you get will most likely need training. Toy breeds are often difficult to housebreak, and tiny dogs are NOT good pets (in general) for small kids. They are often intolerant of children,and are easily injured.

If your kids are small, a sturdier breed may be a better choice!

Hmm, if I'm thinking of the breed right, Terriers are especialy as LuckyRescue describes.

Aren't most tiny or toy breeds "one owner dogs" as well? I heard this is especially true of Yorkies.
