Off Topic Posts count towards total posts?

I just posted in the movies/tv section of the Off Topic forum and it caused my post count to go up. Off topic posts have never counted before. What happened?

Yeah, new to me too, would be nice though, we all post more off topic than on :) but it's never useless talk!

I'm pretty sure they count in the sub-forums at the top of the page but they don't count in the off topic forum.

Ah, I see, the sub forums are where it's at then for increaing your post count!

the off topic forum doesn't add the post counts

I'm already running at 1,000 posts since mid-October! :eek: I think I'd just as soon not have my off-topic posts count--my husband would figure out just how much time I'm spending here when he's at work! :laughing:
