frenchy we are going to La Belle Province for a poutine lunch, been planned for two weeks now, how about that? ha ha! when it's -20C as the high temp for the day... you gotta do what you gotta do to stay warm (eat fat!).

got lots of akita smoochies this morning and tonight my man said he was making me a "home spa"... hmmm wonder what that will be like, wooo! and tomorrow night he's taking me to dinner at a woooonderful restaurant in Old Montreal, some of you may know it? Gibby's. yeah. so i'm a happy gal!

guess what guys... besides my coworkers and my immediate family (mom, dad, one brother and one aunt)... and hubby of course! not one of my friends wished me a happy-bday :eek: :frustrated: they all forgot! i guess i should spend more time with them and less time with my man and the doggies eh... :o all this to say, you have no idea how much i value your happy and thoughtful wishes. OMG i am soooo full,... had to unbutton my pants at the resto. and i know only "old folks" do that :D :laughing: Had lovely red wine, shoestring onion rings, then creole shrimp and finished with a rhum-sauced bread pudding, warm and crispy from the oven... i'll be digesting that for DAYS :eek: grooaaan... every bite worth it though, LOL!

i love that resto (La Louisiane, in NDG... sherbrooke corner regent). anybody else been there? :p

thanks again everyone! it has been a truly wonderful birthday weekend! more sleep than i can remember having in a long time, a most incredible and delicious dinner last night, the beanies are being sweet angels and so is hubby. so we didn't do anything fancy like spend a weekend at the casino or fly to Paris but it's all I wanted this year. wooo! :lovestruck: and i hope you enjoyed "sharing" it with me, LOL! :D
