Our gas prices have fallen lower than I ever remember them in my like 4 year driving career. I paid 68.5 tonight..
Is it just us, or is gas falling everywhere?

My mustang doesn't take near that much gas, but I dig it not lasting Erykah... Work starts tomorrow, so a tank doesn't even last 4 days...
Man I am thanking my lucky stars on the gas prices then, I assumed that they were dropping low low everywhere...
It's been in the 70-low 80s for a while.. Ottawa new years day was like 88.0 I was like you have to be kidding me...

Is that by the liter or the gallon?? Probably the gallon, right? If so, YOU LUCKY THINGS! Here in Ireland, gas (called petrol) is sold by the liter (it might as well be the cup) and, using the conversion from US dollars to euro, and liter to gallon, etc., our gas costs USD6.19 a gallon! That's probably why a lot of people here have these cars that get 50+ miles to the gallon. I'm not so lucky - I came over here with a Geo Tracker - made in Canada, by the way - and get about 25 or so. Ugh. But it serves us right. Some of these techies should already have figured out a way to get existing cars to drive on some other kind of fuel

Gas SHOULD be cheaper everywere in Canada right now,the cost is gone down to below $50/barrel,it should be no more than 65-70 cents a liter, but then the whole gas-business is a mayor ripoff!
Inisfad,we pay right now about 70cents Canadian/liter,I know in Europe it's much more expensive, but we are used to much lower gas-prices,so it really gets upsetting when at one point it was almost $1/liter.
January 18th, 2007, 05:25 PM
Nope, it's in CAD per the Litre.. which would be 2.21 to 3.25 usd/gallon
still half of what you pay though.

Wasn't it at 88.4 tonight? But it depends where in the area you are too, because we've seen prices range from 94.6 to 86,4 in the same day just by going a few kilometers up or down the 40. Shopping around is expensive though, you burn gas doing it :(

Here gas prices are set by region, and are usually changed on the 15th of the month, unless for certain reasons (like major prices increases or decreases) they can be set at other times, but it is always set provincially and prices vary by region.
This is good in a way, as they can't increase unexpectedly, and each place has the same price.
