Finding a new vet

In the past I've always chosen vets by recommendations from good friends that have trusted their vets for years.

Now that I have moved to the east coast, I unfortunately do not have that luxury and must search for a vet on my own.

Since I have never done this before, I need some help on what to ask/interview a vet to determine that I want to take my baby there.

I have a Miniature Pinscher (i think most of you guys know this already, but just in case) that is two years old on february 15th (my valentine baby)

He's pretty ummmm "delicate" as in has eye problems, rashes/allergies, hip problems and is a general Poindexter. I think that he may have been puppy mill cause he has so many issues.

So getting a good vet is really important to me.

Please and thank you in advance.

In Montreal? There are a few good ones, depending on where you are...

I go to Dr Langill on Cote de Liesse near the airport. BMDLuver goes to Dr Plasse in Lasalle, and from what I've seen of their clinic from fostering, it's awesome.:)
