If there was ever a movie about how dysfunctional families work, this is it.:D I loved it. The characters are all pretty well developed and almost all of them end up at rock bottom over the course of this movie, if not right before the movie starts. You really feel for them, and really feel that they're trying to make everything work.
It's a bit obscure and dark, but for obscure lovers, it's totally clear and not obscure at all.:D (My kind of movie :D -- nothing too hard to understand.)
I also loved the accidental team work because of the van. :)
:thumbs up :thumbs up :thumbs up
Oh, the plot:
It's a family who one by one gets sucked into an 800 mile car ride so that the youngest daughter can perform in a beauty contest. She is so not a beauty queen, which is what makes the movie so charming, IMO...
