Why my house didnt burn down is beyond me!

We took apart the old furnace to get rid of it ( too much to haul the whole thing up in one shot) when the back panels came off all the insulation was burt...
This is what we found :eek:

The flames were shooting right through to the back section :eek: :eek:

Nice of the land loard to get us a new furnace 2 years ago when the other one went huh:rolleyes:

Holy cr@p! Good thing you looked when you did--not sure how much longer you could've gone without the house going up! :eek: You might think the house is cursed, but hey, it didn't burn up even with a furnace like that... Seems to me that makes it a very lucky house! :thumbs up

We didnt look, the only reason we changed it was because the oil tank didnt pass, neither did the chiminey and the guy said " i dont like the looks of that furnace either, may as well change it now" thankfully we did, the landloard reinbursed us but all in all it was approx $3000...... Better than the house going up in flames though. :eek:
The furnace we have now is BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!!!!:D

Wow, that's scary! Glad there was no fire, but amazed there wasn't. That's some good luck!

Wow that is something, glad the inspectors did recom,mend replacing

I just replaced my 40 year old furnace, and it worked and looked great compare to that baby

I think you were meant to stay a while longer and help more fur children. :o I honestly don't understand how that didn't start a fire.:confused:
