Can a lot of cats climb ladders? Mine can (picture included)

This is Ginkgo, my middle cat. She was about 6 months old here. This is my bf's son's room. An obvious Oilers fan. One day his son went in to this room and Ginkgo was on his bed. We didn't know how she got there and then a few days later I saw her climbing the ladder. My oldest now does it. Managed to catch her doing it one day and snapped this picture. (

That's soo funny,my Rocky climbed a ladder almost to the roof of our house once, then he did not know how to get down:D
Hubby was on the roof and could not get down because Rocky was on the ladder,so I had to climb up and get the little suck(Rocky not hubby!)I should have taken pics:D

But, at least she always keeps you smiling. :D

That proves it then. Cats are smarter than dogs. My cats can get down themselves. LOL Actually they do. They just come down sort of sideways/forward and take it one step at a time.

This thread is funny. :D Love the ladder doggies. Jemma can make it up to about 2 feet off the ground on really big wooden ladders, but that's about it. Boo can do stairs...:o

My cats (2 Sypynxes and a Siamese, all noted for loving heights) climb vines, ladders, you name it. My lab nephew is also good at climbing the ladder - tho I've never taken a pict of him doing it, I guess I assumed miost pets do this- don't they? <g> Especially if you are going there. Or like the man said about the mtn, "because it was there" ( :) ) Tho I am sure that is not what Sir EH had in mind when he made that comment, lol

Here is YY on a ladder - there are more pix but what can I say - I can drive you crazy with trees (think of a cat on a leash in a tree meowing - er make that caterwalling as only a meezer can), laadders, walls, you name it, lol

And of course I do try to get them to climb on lwegit stuff like say a cat tree. I hope this one keeps their attention but you know, ladders and trees and walls are so much more fun if you are a kitty and you just know mommy does not wa nt you there. :)
