my dog plays too hard

She is a pitbull/rhodesian mix and is a lunatic when it comes to playing. If i let her, she would play until she died. She loves to play fetch, so when we take her to the green space behind our house it lasts like ten minutes when i start to notice she's panting really hard and looking stressed physically.

I read that this can be an issue with some pitties, but is there anything one can do to pace their dog?

Maybe we should take small intervals between throws?

It worries me because i wonder if maybe she's not just running her hardest for the ball or playing as hard as she can, but that she's got something wrong with her heart that causes her to peter out so quickly? She just had a check up and the vet said everything was good

If the vet said everything was good then (either get a second opinon or) its good! Take it easy-take 'love' breaks between throws  You know pet her and let her play w/ the ball w/ out throwing it. Also try to make her chill- we have to 'sit' b/4 the ball is thrown. Try this and see if it helps.
