Ok, there is mass confusion about these colors and I can answer it either so... whats the difference?
Mia apparenly is a diluted tortie  i thought she was a regular tortishell but apparenly not. She has a noticable peach like marking on her forehead and a marble effect on her body with a white patch on her underside.
So is she indeed a diluted or just a tortie??

From her pic I would say dilute(she's kind blue in colour not black). Torti is with black, and a calico is big patches of colour, there is also torti tabby, which is a tabby colour with splashes of orange mixed in.

I wish I could scan pictures of my Cina (gone since '92:( ) but se was a beauty. Mostly black with lots of splashes of orange and a smitch of white. I never thaought of her as anything but "a cat" I thought you were either Persian, Siamese, or plain old cat. What did I know back then??

Anyway, what's black with orange splashes? I'm guessing Tabby. She was a stray who wanted in very badly. So in she came.
