Very thin and shy microchipped female GSD was walking on leash with her
owner and when something spooked her she bucked around and slipped her
collar and bolted on Sunday.
Her owners phoned all the vets in Scarborough and in Pickering. They
have put up flyers in a wide radius and given them to Emergency Services,
Police, Postmen, Hydro workers, in stores and at plazas, in parks and
all over the place. They posted a Lost listing on the Humane Society and
put an ad on the Star Online classifieds They have called the Humane
Society several times and the Animal Services in Scarborough and in
Pickering. Please keep your eyes peeled for her.

I'm so sorry Toonces; not another shy GSD missing in Ontario!

Do you want me to cross post on TGSDR website? There are many Toronto members there which might help.

Keeping my fingers crossed :fingerscr

Any sightings?

Should they not be checking the shelters in person? We've all heard stories of how unreliable phone calls there can be.

Fingers and paws crossed for her safe return. :fingerscr :pawprint: :fingerscr :pawprint:

I work in Scarborough, so I'll keep my eyes and ears open.
I know this may sound morbid, but have them call the city , because if the city picks up a deceased pet (off the road) and the pet has ID, the city is supposed to keep track. (they put it in a log).
