We have snow in Vancouver! Hardly ever happens here so decided to grab a few pics and wanted to see every one elses snow pics.

Was 16 degrees out here too.. Never had a digicam before so we don't have winter pics..

Oh, I'm sure she would like that. I should probably just buy her a bunch of stuffed animals and toys and let her shred them and take pictures of the stuffing all over her. Hey, better yet, I can let her shred the Santa Claus she keeps stealing from under the Christmas tree. I see it now, it'll be like meb's Buster with the paper towels. :eek:

All but the puppy pic and Cass's pic are from Nov 10 and 11...but all the snow has melted already. :sad: It was pretty atypical for us to have a storm like that this early.

We didn't have a good digi cam last year. This year will be Roscoe's first snow and I can't WAIT to see him in it! I love when they flip it up with their noses. We never get it deep enough for them to burrow in. :sad: No snow in teh forecast yet!

This is last Christmas...Toby with foster dog Beauty (Mal mix) - they enjoyed a nice break after 10 rounds of WWF Wrestling in the snow. More to follow!

We just got a ton of snow last night in the Ottawa area. No pics yet - Toby has some sores on his face from scraping himself while tunneling in the snow/ice and now has to mope around with a doggie cone-head!!!! :yell:

It was my favourite too. Glad Beauty found a home with another mal as they love company.

Yesterday, thought I'd try for cats in snow pics.. but well.. that didnt work out well, as I had no willing volunteers.;)

Got one brief shot of Zack.. before he bolted back inside to the cozy house.
But more snow in the forecast tomorrow :eek: maybe will try again then for something really eye-catching. I do love the pets in snow photos!

Great pics everyone! We haven't had any snow at all here in Northern VA, in fact Saturday it was 70F again. It's now about 19F (with the windchill), so I'm betting we may have snow flurries soon (Brandy, did you guys get any down where you are? Said today you might!) Two of my favourite "snow dogs" - both RIP but that's kinda good cause they would both have been sooooo disappointed with the lack of snow we've had this year.:frustrated:
I always wished i'd gotten a shot (or video) of Chloe (the golden) rolling in the snow - it always made me SMILE:)

If u think gluco's an energizer ... you have to see what thyroid med's do :laughing: Misti will be eight and can climb a mountain faster then any yung one out there. Brandi is scared of heights and although I took a photo of her I won't include it cuz it's her looking reallllly :sad: at Mist. The baby boy Winnie is a crested, I decided to try letting the hair on his ears grow, now that he is older, his ears should be strong enough to support the weight of the hair, when fully grown in should look more like this

K, this was at 5:30, it's almost 7:30 now and it's been coming down like that for the past two hours, so that's so far four hours of that! I have pics from last March 1st where we were out for a pleasant walk in the woods with a bit of snow on the ground. (Isn't March in like a lion, out like a lamb?)

I know I have posted this pic before but it is my favorite one of Currie.

Well the dog sure is real I can tell by how much he eats.

Folly in the snow,Happy,Jack and Rio.Happy's the only one who wears a blanket most of the winter everyone else has really heavy winter fuzz so they only get them when it's really windy and cold or freezing rain,they usally go in then any way.The ducks and chickens play in the snow, they put their heads down and tunnel,they roll around,the guineas slide down the roof.They have a heat source in their house so if they get cold they go in and warm up.When it's really cold they stay in were it's warm.

i don't mind the winter here in northern ontario, but after 4 months, i must say i don't mind seeing spring. on the other hand, kassi would be in heaven if it was always winter. she's outside when i leave for work at 6 am and back in at 10 pm when i go to bed regardless if its 10 or 30 below o celcius, what a dog!

Only one pic showed up for me but Kassi is a very pretty girl......such a gorgeous colour. :lovestruck:
