I'm vet shopping, or will be mighty soon. While I like them, I now see why some people I've talked to put off their vet visits unless they have to go. A single trip for something minor can be almost a higher bill than going in for a yearly visit.
So I'm wondering what people's vet's current vacc. protocol for DHPP is when your dog is over a year.

Last year it was every 2 years, now, every 3.

Rabies every 3 years and boosters every 2 years.
Thats the way it is for us here.
Still have annual check ups though but not a whole lot of vaccines.
I am going to start the titer testing with them from now on, I dont want to " over vaccinate"
I think thats the smarter way to go. ( for now)

Regular vaccins every year, rabbies every 3 years. Like Erykah, I think it's over vaccinating but I don't want to take any chances.

Vaccines at our vets just changed from annually to every three years. So Hunter had his last vaccination in June and won't need vaccinations again for 3 years, but Cassie had hers in January and needs to be revaccinated this January coming, but then it will be good for 3 years:shrug:

I'm hoping that the vet will go to every 3 years, but it's currently every year.
