It is probably wheat grass. You can grow it yourself or buy it... I used to give that to mine and they loved it. Cats like to eat it, although like with a dog, the grass sometimes gets puked back up. As far as I'm aware it's not harmful, though.

I used to grow it for my Mum's cat on the windowsill in the kitchen Heidho. I would grow mine from seed, it dies off after awhile but I just kept re-seeding it, the cat would nibble at it in the pot. Use a new pot, soil-less mix, no fertilizer or (obviously) pesticides. You can also grow catnip from seed kiddo ~ give those kitties some real bliss :D !!

but dont the cats just puke it up all over the carpet? I know if I let mine out in the yard (supervised) they love to eat grass, but then they come inside and puke it up an hour later.
