New and worried

November 4th, 2006, 11:04 AM
We have a sheltie her name is cassie she is 8yo. We also have a cat nalla that is 4yo. Nalla is more like the dog now coming to the door when the bell rings wanting to go out for walks which we don't do as she is declawed and there are some transient critters out there. They are both a constant source of entertainment and wonder. We do have a problem and was wondering if any of you might have had or heard of a similar case.Nalla has eaten a burst balloon and had been bringing up a clear frothy fluid(not much) she has since become reclusive and has not drank or eaten anything for about 12 hours
a most unusual thing for her!!! Will she regurgitate or pass the object?

First welcome to the board. We would love to see pictures.

Pug lover is right, the cat needs to get to a vet. There is a good chance that there may be a blockage which could lead to death. Please let us know what the vet says. :fingerscr
