lol That's a girl dog. She was always very self-conscious about that. :D As she finally feathered out, the hair on the back of her legs got long enough to cover it. But I just trimmed all the feathers off so they wouldn't catch all the burrs out in the woods and now she's all embarrassed about it again...:o Just dont' tell her I posted a pic of it and she'll be fine! :D

When Cass was about 10 months and Ember was still just a lad of about 12 weeks, Ember used to bug Cass unmercifully. Eventually she'd just reach over and engulf his head to get a few seconds of peace. They both seemed to enjoy the game immensely...but it looks pretty weird:

LOL "The listening ear" is a weird quirk she's had since she was a wee lass (the first pic is at 10 weeks). I don't know if it works, but she uses it as a radar whenever something catches her interest. Must be the dominant ear. Sometimes, when she's really excited (like when we're out for a walk in the woods) both go up and they actually touch at the top of her head, most times she holds them like a Greyhound, but sometimes, sometimes (as in 1% of the time) she holds them like an Aussie.

Yeah--and did you notice in Toonces' pic of the scary space doggy, there's a doggy high-tailing it out of the area (look at the lower right-hand corner). Evidently, it isn't just us who think that's a scary sight! :D
