Spoiled

Just a few days ago, my dog got a hold of a pen. He took it to his kennel, and chewed the end of it in the night! In the morning, I noticed *blue* feet, but I didn't know what it was from.
We finaly found the pen in his kennel, and we cleaned his feet off with a solvant. When night time came, he began to wobble, couldn't jump up on our laps, was reluctant to sit or lay when he is really very obedient, and wasn't feeling well at all! About half the pen was chewed off, so we thought it might be the pen! We fed him milk, and then phoned the vet. And of course, the vet wasn't home!! We were concerned, because we thought that it might have been the solvant!
We were worried, so we phoned another vet in the area, who told us *not* to give him milk.:o She gave us advice on what to feed him, and he threw up the pen that night. The next day, the dog went to the rug:rolleyes: and threw up some more. By afternoon he was back to his usual happy self.
Now we are thankful that he is feeling better and is showing no signs of illness.
