Writing4Fun October 2nd, 2006, 08:34 AM Ellen Degeneres was asking for fall pics from across the continent, since she doesn't really get 'fall' in her neck of the woods (LA?). So I took a few pictures out of my yard this morning to send to her. I thought it would be great to see some fall pics from other people's gardens (I'm looking at you, Chico2! :D ).

rainbow November 6th, 2006, 05:21 AM Beautiful "fall" pics. :thumbs up Unfortuneately, I have a brown thumb, and cannot contribute. Chico and some of the others certainly can though. :D
chico2 November 6th, 2006, 07:45 AM He,he,I'll try to get some today, but my trees are already bare:sad: got some bushes though in pretty colours..
chico2 November 6th, 2006, 02:34 PM Well,this is all I could come up with,not much colour left:sad:
chico2 November 6th, 2006, 02:35 PM a couple more..
chico2 November 6th, 2006, 02:37 PM Looks pretty sad,eh:D
chico2 November 6th, 2006, 02:43 PM Senior moment,forgot the pics:D
glasslass November 24th, 2006, 09:55 PM We've finally gotten a cold snap that's literally turned the Japanese Maples to Fall colors overnight.
Prin November 24th, 2006, 09:57 PM ooo I missed this one! Awesome pics everybody! :)
hazelrunpack November 24th, 2006, 10:41 PM We had pretty good color this year--but it went really quickly. The maples were delayed a bit, which brought they into synch with the oaks and the peak was absolutely breath-taking.
This is just a few feet south of our property line:

This was the view towards our only permanent neighbor:

hazelrunpack November 24th, 2006, 10:45 PM Just to the north is the intersection where the only paved road comes into town. This was the view looking east along that road:

And this was right across the road at the end of our drive:

hazelrunpack November 24th, 2006, 10:48 PM And one more, of a fall rainbow, just because I so rarely can get one of these to turn out... :D
20022
No garden shots, though--my thumb is green, but only because it's moldy. :frustrated:
glasslass November 25th, 2006, 01:03 AM Ooooooh! Your rainbow almost was a double!
Prin November 25th, 2006, 02:22 AM Great foliage pics, Hazel.:thumbs up
hazelrunpack November 25th, 2006, 02:43 AM Ooooooh! Your rainbow almost was a double!
Actually, it was double...it's just that, being slow, I didn't get the camera out until it was well past its glory :(
Prin November 25th, 2006, 02:51 AM Looks like it still had glory to me. :) http://foolstown.com/sm/inc.gif
chico2 November 25th, 2006, 08:21 AM I LOVE all the fallcolours,it's the bare dead look of everything when the leaves are off,I don't like:sad: The in-between time before we get snow.
The snow makes everything white and pretty again.
Not that I love snow, but we live in Canada after all and it makes the spring a very happy event:cat:
