Sadly, I tore down the garden shed to make way for a new garden next Spring . . . . . so you'd just have to sit out on the cold, cold, barren prairie!!!

I'll remember the scene below for a long time, ridge walking with Keeper in the Whaleback area of southwestern Alberta . . . . as you went east and into the distance from this scene you would have to hit the Alps in France before you found a higher spot.

Prin, we didn't use the flash when we took the pic of Willow's eye. Just a regular digital camera held about a foot away from her eye.... it worked fine.

Yeah, but Willow's a bit lighter than Jemma... The black really affects the light meter on the camera.:shrug:

Try facing her toward a window, that's what we did, then the pupil will contract too and you'll get more of the iris.

I just found out my camera has a B&W and a sepia mode, so I took these tonight.

Love the expression in the B&W.

Actually, Rainbow, you don't know the half of it. The dogs have their own website and even their own online newsletter. Most everything is from the dogs' point of view (I'm their ghostwriter ;) ). The pics will change and so will the newsletter (both sites just came 'up' this month)--the dogs are working on Issue 14 of the newsletter and it will likely be posted sometime in the next week or 10 days. I am a new member and this was our puppy Rowdie when he was 8 weeks old when we brought him home. He is now 20months and there are recent pics of him in the pics section as well. I just wanted to add this picture because I think it is so cute....lol

How could you name such a sweet little thing Rowdie! :D Looks so innocent--not one ounce of mischief in him (I'm sure) :angel: I'll bet it was hard to not laugh when he did something bad...

Heehee thanks for the comment. Yeah hes a complete angel:evil: haha...never does anything wrong. He earned his name. He is the most active dog that I have ever had. The first time I took him to the vet down here in AZ the first thing they said was I can see how he got his name. But I wouldn't change him for anything. I love him with my whole heart....I love all my animals with my whole heart they are my children. LOL.....well wait maybe children would be easier haha....but thank you for the comment.

Actually, I'm usually grateful for the noise...tells me when there's trouble; tells me when they're playing; tells me when there's someone at the door; tells em we're being overrun by dangerous butterflies and villainous varmints:D . I don't care for it when I'm typing quietly at the computer and the dog sitting next to me suddenly goes off, though. :eek:

Well, when we got Osiris, we were told he was a am staff...HAHAHA

We think he is husky/german shepher/staffie mix. He has the staff body, but the ears of a shepherd, the eyes of a husky..the undercoat of a shepherd. Osiris is a true Heinz 57. We usually just tell people he is a Wild lowlands sheperd, or a Dingo :)

He is very cute and I love his colour. Did he ever grow into his ears? :D

Perfect name for Osiris, he looks Egyptian.

Ok, I just scrolled through this whole thread...I just have to say, some of the pictures actually brought tears to my eyes.
They're amazing. Especially the ones with the unbelievable scenery! You just wonder what our little furies are thinking when you look at some of these...

Well since these don't necessarily have to be of pets...I have a few more.
The first I've posted before, it's of a lake we frequent at sunset. The colors are amazing:

:cat: Here are MacTavish (Tav) & Pree. Tav is Black and Pree is white. They love to Cuddle. Tav loves to Eat and Pree likes snuggle on the the pillows on the bed when daddy is not looking. They are almost 7 years old now and I can't imagine life without them. They are still just as rambuncious as the day they came home from the SPCA. :cat:
