I have read on this board and in several books that you can give your dog yogurt.
How much can i give my dog?
can i give it to my cat and how much?
What kind can i give them?

I give my guys yogurt.
They love it.

Don't give yogurt with artificial sweeteners in it and you have a pointer so I wouldn't worry about fat content.
Yogurt is great for inputing healthy bacteria into your dogs gut and intestine!

thanks for the help i just wanted to make sure....Gave Tracker and Mercedes yogurt tonight,Tracker loved it but Mercedes wasn't interested.

Plain, unflavoured yogurt is helpful for dogs with...ummm..excess flatulence.:D

You just have to watch for a bit and start them off slowly.Some cats/dogs are lactose intolerent.
My daughter left a glass with a bit of milk in it by the computer.Casper knocked it over and drank the milk.
Lets just say hubby had to boil some rice for him.:(

My girls eat raw food and get yogurt daily. Just a large spoonful of low-fat unflavored. I assume they like it, there is never any left in the bowl.
