Lost Husky/Shepard X in East Gwillimbury

September 12th, 2006, 08:13 AM
I have lost my baby Bella, a Husky/Shepard X
She is about 9.5 months old, she has a black back, light tan face, legs & eyebrows; she has white on her chest & all paws have white toes; she has brown eyes and has the husky shadow underneath her eyes. She has a scar on her eyeball from an eye surgery.
She has been missing since Aug. 22 and I have taken the usual route to finding her. Every Vet in Newmarket and surrounding area has her description, every animal control around us and then some has been notified. I have sent mass emails to places that she is unlikley to get to, North Bay to Toronto, Niagra Falls to Quebec. I have posted flyers, I even drove around and put them in people's mail boxes.
She is a very friendly dog, she loves kids, dogs, and cats. She is my shadow and is never far from my side, just like the toddler that won't let you go to the bathroom by yourself.
I phoned New York yesterday because Huskysavers has a dog that looks identical to her.
This is awful, it's like losing one of your kids. I will try and get a picture of her on my computer so I can post it, the only one I have is from when she was about 3 months old. Animal rescue has posted my flyer for me on petfinder.
I don't know where else to look, any suggestions?
I am keeping my :fingerscr and trying to keep on :) but that's hard right now, I am hoping that with the more eyes watching I will find her.

Thanks for the support.

My baby Bella is home again :thumbs up .

This site takes a bit of getting use to. I just posted something and don't know if I did it twice or not, hopefully not.
I have a 1 1/2 pages of #'s to call and 3 mass emailings to do so every one know the good news.

I will keep coming back to see if I can see someone else's family member somewhere.

So glad to hear the good news. :highfive: Did Bella come home on her own or did someone find her?

Some one found her, and animal control picked her up.
They said she was hanging around for a few days, and she finally caught her. She has come to no harm and she still remembers her comands we were working on. It's so good to see her home again.:cloud9:
