Grizzlies spotted at Upper Kananaskis Lake a month or so ago . . . .

Muntain Sheep babies from earlier in the summer, Whaleback area southwest of Calgary . . . .

In the spring, a fox mommy watches her den in the village of Alix in east-central Alberta . . . . she was right beside a road and local residents were watching out for her and her brood.

Two elk boys come out of the mist at dawn . . . . . we get a hundred or more of these huge animals coming out of the pasturelands and lounging for the evening outside of our fence, bugling through the night.

Deer at sunset outside out fence . . . . . its a rare night when we can't see some deer somewhere.

OH wow Prin, those owls are beautiful,I've never seen an Owl in the wild.
I thought you lived in the city:confused:
and Rick, you are so very fortunate having all this wildlife near your home,my camera would be working overtime if I lived there.

Wow Rick those pics are incerdable, I saw a baby fox this morning on my way to work. We had two abandon fawns living on our property but I was unable to get a pic of them, very sad I came home today from work and one had been hit by a car and she was so badly hurt the OPP had to shoot her right in my front yard:sad: Now I am worried sick about the other baby

Chico, I cheated... :o They're from the ecomuseum here. It's a sort of wildlife sanctuary thing for animals too weak to survive in the wild (so they say). :o Sorry, I've posted them a few times, so I thought everybody knew already... I've only seen barn owls in nature...

Great pics Rick.:)

Toonces, that's horrible! I hope the other guy is fine.:fingerscr:

I hope she is ok too, have net seen her since I have been home, contacted a local animal sanctuary to see if they could help but they cannot, told me not to contact the ministry or they will come out and shoot her, so if she is still here in the winter I will get some hay, corn and oats, don't know how she will survive withour a mum to show her how:sad: :sorry: :offtopic:

Dog Mom that is a great pic!
