Isabelle & Ebay

September 2nd, 2006, 07:38 AM
I laid my labtop in the floor and left my ebay signed on, because I was bidding on the new Motorola Pebl and I went to the kitchen to make a sandwich.... by the time that I had gotten back to the living room Isabelle (my 20 week old kitten) was smacking the wireless mouse around and playing with it:pawprint: (because she likes the light that appears when someone moves the mouse)
2 hours later, I get a message............ I have won.......... a "Land Before Time" beach towel. When Isabelle was smacking the mouse around, she bid on the beach towel and won....... kinda curious on what else she bid on.:cat:
LOL, I just thought that this was kinda funny and had to share my story with you.

Question is . . . how much was that beach towel? Wait til Kitty gets a bit older and her tastes get more sophisticated! Bling-Bling :cat: !!!

you dont have to get the beach towel, right?

September 3rd, 2006, 02:17 AM
I hope the towel wasn't too expensive.

September 3rd, 2006, 08:01 AM
she will have to pay for it and buy it, we just wont to know the price

The beach towel is 29$ thats including shipping from California. I think she may have clicked on the "buy it now" feature or something. But, yea Im stuck with the Towel, because I contacted the seller and he said "all bids and sales are final". So, guess where that towel is going?????????? In her bed. Im gonna start closing my labtop or unplugging the wireless mouse when I go in the other room... glad it wasnt a car that she bid on, lol.:cat:

Isabelle's a smart shopper.....29 cents for a beach towel is a pretty good deal. :D

September 3rd, 2006, 02:35 PM
I think that was a "$"!

September 3rd, 2006, 04:09 PM
Hee hee, so it is. I'm used to the $ being before the amount and must have read the post too fast. :o I guess Isabelle isn't such a smart shopper after all but hope she enjoys her towel. :D

That IS an expensive beach towel,I thought you said she WON it:confused:

September 3rd, 2006, 07:10 PM
She won the auction . . . too bad her owner has to pay for it! Or was that the plan all along? Smart kitty! :D

oops!! youve learnt the hard way

September 4th, 2006, 09:07 AM
Yea, I think she clicked on the "buy it now" feature on ebay. All I know, is that from now on, I will close the labtop when I go in the other room, take the wireless mouse with me, or make Isabelle follow me. LOL.

When I saw the heading on this post, I immediately thought Ebay was a cat and what a great name.

That would be a cute name for a cat.
