Is your weim as stubborn and free-spirited as their reputation says they are?

September 3rd, 2006, 10:30 PM
Stubborn:evil: Very much.He is very spirited. And has a wonderful personality.

What a beautiful boy! I'd love to have a Weimeraner someday. I think they might be too much for me to handle, though.:o I have trouble with my lab/rott stubborn, independent monsters-and I believe that Weims are supposed to be much more freethinking than labs or rotts, right?

September 3rd, 2006, 10:36 PM
Yeah, but they're so beautiful! :D I brought Boo to meet a weim and a german pointer (the family owns one of each  ) and Boo got along GREAT with the weim...

I agree-I think they are about the most beautiful dog out there.

Well, if Boo liked him, you have to get one, right?

September 3rd, 2006, 10:39 PM
oh, yeah! I want one.

You have to stay on top of him all the time. It's easy in my house we have 8 people living here.We spend hours in the back yard throwing his kong.I'm the only one who can walk him right now.We had him given to us at 11months old with no training. He was to be temp till we could find him a home.He did ours.Left us no choice but to love him:love: But no regrets.Would get another one.

He loves kids and other dogs.My daughter is 5.And she will but her foot on his but and pull his tail. When he has had enough he will turn around walk by her and bump her with he's hips and just keep on walking
