a friend told me her dog had decreased activity and yelped when she touched the dog. She has not taken the dog to a vet what could be wrong with the dog? should i intervene?

If a dog is yelping when you touch it it could have some injury or something going on inside that causes the area to be tender.

You should intervene by suggesting your friend see a vet ASAP

I agree w/Dee and Mona.

This dog needs to get to a vet ASAP!!!!!!!

Tell your friend to get on the phone and make an appointment for her pooch.

>>what does pain when u touch a dog indicate? << indicates the dog is in pain...
Of COURSE it should go to a vet!
Wouldn't your friend go to a doctor if being touched caused enough pain to make her yelp??
