Deerclan - thanks! That's Cooper, my favourite dog. He's the only Rottie I've ever gotten as a pup, he comes from a very very good breeder in Denver. Since I didn't want to show or breed, I got the long haired puppy! :) It's of course a disqualifying "fault" and fairly unusual. Those pics were actually taken a few months after I had him clipped for summer, and he was younger. You should see him now - three years old & a real heavy coat; looks like a bear. Underneath that fur he's got beautiful structure (look at that head!!); he was the male pick of the litter until the coat started coming in long at about 5 weeks old.

Rotties are very different to hunting breeds in temperament! They'll test you all the way down the line, especially females. :D

I have three Rotties but he's my favourite. He goes lots of places with me; he's a wonderful dog & I can take him anywhere, he's always a gentleman. :)
For the photo on the "contact" page, the photographer put hot dogs in my ear. Cooper was trying to get it out. :D

I know her through a business owners' group I belong to...she does mostly equine photography. I guess she's nationally known for that...she's very good at taking photos with animals.
(That's one of her horses in the photos, I don't have horsies!)

The ones on the book site are from last...July or August. That dog's got his full winter coat now.
I'll look through what I have & give some to Sandi/LavenderRott to post for me. She's my photo guru. :) I wanted to show off my other two Rottenweilers & our kitty too. :)
