PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST; please contact Kelly directly - I am
cross-posting from Whippet World on her behalf, and I will also post
on Hound Talk, Grey Talk and Wonderful World of Whippets.

URGENT lost - Java, a female 6 year old brindle greyhound in the
Whitby area.

She lives at 9 Ingleboro. Someone (possibly children going after their
ball that went over the fence) opened the gate of the yard and she
took off down the street at approximately 9pm this evening- 8th of August.

One of the neighbors apparently had a hold of her and returned her to
her home however they did not put her back inside the yard and so she
just took off again. The neighbor brought her back while her adopter
was on his bicycle looking for Java. IF you know anyone in the Whitby
area, please notify them to be on the look out for Java. She is
friendly and likes people.

Java is friendly and loves people.

IF you have friends out in the Whitby area, please contact them to be
on the look out for her.

I have the contact numbers for anyone who is in the Whitby area please
email me at kelly hembruff @ personainternet dot com and I will
forward them to you

I'm glad she's been found...

My question is more how do you lose a greyhound? o.O at least initially....I mean it doesn't seem like something you'd miss...its kinda like the socks that you find on the side of the road....or missing your car keys after going to the library (arriving in your car too)...

P.S. Yes I read the "how" it got was just the first thing I'd thought when seeing lost greyhound.
