Is he wearing a collar and have you gone to the SCDD? Don't just call them, go and check yourself. I have heard people say they have called and been told NO only to find their dog there when they checked themselves.
You can also give the SPCA Monteregie a call and also the SPCA in Montreal. If found he could have been brought there.
I will keep my eye out in St-Hubert for him.

Good luck

He did not have his collar on. It was taken off before going to sleep for the evening. The tags gingle a lot. He was unfortunately let out during the night without his collar and tags. This is when he took off.

We checked the SPCA on Jean-Talon and the one in Monteregie. We also visited the SCDD and called the Bergie Blanc. We have had no luck.

Please keep checking. They're not likely to call if he does come in. Good luck.:fingerscr :fingerscr

Yes, keep checking the SCDD everyday. They supposedly hold dogs for a week before putting them up for adoption but I don't trust them. I will say though that last year I left my number with them when some kids found a golden and brought him to me. A week later a lady got my number from them when she was looking for her dog so they did keep it and give it out.

We are still looking and checking the SCDD almost everyday.

He has been found!!!! My brother got the call today and went to pick him up.

He apparently wondered around for a week before being picked up a very generous person. This person took very good care of him and called my brother when he saw the add in the Courier du Sud newspaper.

We are all excited to have him back.

Thanks to everyone for helping us out.

Tell me about it... he was actually found on Highway 10 near the Champlain bridge!!!

It's still a mystery as to where he was the first week of his disappearance.

At least on his second week, he was in a nice home being pampered!

That is great news. I must admit that I had given up hope that you would find him again. I am glad I was wrong.
