Tracker is fine folks,He was trying to get out to see me in the back yard and went through the screen door.

Our short hair pointer Penny (god bless her soul)went through a second floor glass window to get at a racoon on the garage roof and ended up with multiple stiches in her front right leg.

So now when were out the dog goes in the crate before we leave. Its easy to train them to hunt but can be difficult to train them not to hunt,I recommend any dog with a strong prey drive to be crated if your going to be out.

I know of a Weinmariner that did this as well. Directly through a DOUBLE pane window and he was FINE!
Aside from being an absolute nut for doing it! Again he did it cause his owner was in the yard, he could see him and wanted out....so the window proved not strong enough for that poochie.

OUCH about the other stitches issue, have any pictures of her?

Unfortunately Luba all i have is old polaroids of her. She was the best Pointer yet that i owned as soon as i get a scanner i will post them. Penny died about 2 years ago from a stroke and for me that was the next worst thing to loosing my Father who had passed away a couple of months before her

Well we all have memories of our loved poochies past.

I have so many of mine that I am going to scan in soon to put on CD and save.

:D

Was just looking through some photos tonight, remembering their personalities and when they were pups...it's nice to remember them....warms the soul.
