I have had my 5 month old male kitten to the vet 3x due to reoccuring infected paws!!! It starts out swollen and hard, red then it opens up, drains puss then scabs over. this has happened to both the pad and toes. I started to rub cream on them daily as they are dry. He doesn't seem bothered by them except when I inspect them. his vet mentioned EOSINOPHILIC GRANULOMA, has anyone heard of this? I have read about it, but not on the paws. He is an indoor cat?

YOu can read about it here. (http://www.marvistavet.com/html/eosinophilic_granuloma.html)

The suggested treatment for the allergic type seems to be cortisone.
