Tucker has always had the easy life, he is one of the lucky ones.

Start out in a tiny appartment where the man beats you senseless. Get abandoned in said appartment and not be found for 2 weeks. Start a new life and spend your winter holidays in a beautiful log house in the mountains, where the snow is so deep, the zoomies never end, and you get to sleep on your mommy's 5 foot tall teddy bear that cost twice your adoption fee.

(PLEASE ignore the hideous wicker furniture... my mom and I have a never ending battle over it's suitability, or lack there of as indoor furniture)

July 30th, 2006, 09:14 PM
is that Pier 1 wicker furniture??

good god no! My mom didn't sink that low. She goes out and spends a royal fortune on it. It's all hand made by some local artisan. For what she payed for that chair and ottoman, we could have gotten 4 lay-z-boys.... but alas, not a single one in the house.. I feel so neglected :p

Jemma's turn on the sofa...

Boo in the grass in the front...

He stays out there so long if you let him that his hair fries in the sun. It really gets crispy- I thought about changing foods or something because his fur was looking pretty terrible, but then I started moving him to the shade and now his fur is back to normal.

Ok, I know you've all had enough of Jemma and Boo.. But here's one last "Princess in the paper bag" pic of Jemma...:D

If you're a movie buff, you'll recognize in the photo above the backdrop from Brokeback Mountain, the scene near the end where Enis and Jack part ways for good . . . . the gravel parking lot where they have their spat and where Enis races off in his pickup is just a few hundred feet away. . . . . Upper Kananaskis Lake.

Below, more of the spoiling . . . . . we were doing this yesterday (although a pic from last summer), Keeper walking through her back yard, the prairie wind whipping the tall grass around her . . . . very windy and cool here yesterday . . . . fun to walk out in to the field in the furiously waving tall grass. I have this picture in my office and long after Abby and Keeper are gone, its moments like this I'll remember most.

Mozart discovered he had an audience this morning...

He loved every minute of this encounter... barked playfully, ran around the yard, went back to the fence only to find that the kittie on the other side of it hasn't moved an while he was trying to get its attention!

This is my standard poodle "Sam". I was given him last Jan right after I lost both my Dad and my best friend Max (gsd) within 3 months of one another. He is an amazing dog. I think he kept me sane when I was grieving. I never thought I could love another dog like I loved Max. This dog is really something special.
I'm not sure why the picture shows blue eyes when he actually has brown eyes...

Sam I Am, Sam is a sweetheart and glad he found you at the right time.

where to do it.

August 30th, 2006, 12:58 AM
I'm in love with the calico in the first pic! And it's always a joy to see Boo and Jemma! :p

Here's Booster, chilling out . . .

Please forgive the blurriness, this is the ONLY time I've actually caught them in the fireplace. Usually I just come home from work and find Booster has turned himself into an impromptu calico . . . white, orange, and black smudges.

I have a nice soft chair with a nice soft cushion on it. So they sleep on the hard wooden chair. CATS!
