Will ingesting mosquito larvae hurt my cats? They drank out of a bowl of water that had quite a few mosquito larvae in it.

If you are worried about the West Nile Virus,as we are here in Ontario,I doubt the larvae carry the virus.
No danger to your cats in larvae stage, but still, don't let your cats drink dirty standing water, there could be other bacteria in it.
Change any Skiter breeding-water bowls,birdebaths etc..every day!

Thank-you, my cats don't normally go outside, but they escaped one day, and I saw them drinking out of an empty flower pot that had filled with water. I try to keep those things emptied, but don't always remember. Thank-you again.
