Pups on Wellness simple solutions Venison on a food elmination diet to determin what allergies he may have. Anyhoo, yesterday we got a bag of these
Wheat Flour, Cheese, Salt, Brewers Dried Yeast, Garlic Powder
Would these be safe to feed him?

Wheat is not a great idea for allergy dogs.
Wellness makes wheat/corn/soy and chicken free cookies...
There are also some lamb and rice ones from Canidae (http://www.canidae.com/treats/snap-biscuits/lambandrice.html ) and Northern biscuit has a few allergy-"free" cookies (wheat/corn free).
Here's a thread with some links to cookie things for dogs with allergies...

Thanks. Dunno how I missed that thread
We went to a puppy picnic yesterday and they gave out the Fromm treats so i thought Id ask.
Cant give the Canidae as thats the food he was on before. So I have to rule out lamb. I'll look into the wellness ones since thats what hes getting now. Thanks :thumbs up

Cool. I'm just wondering if at this point where I'm still trying to find out whats causing the allergy, maybe it would be wise to stick with no treats for now.

You could always use kibble as treats...

Spoil them by giving : Carrots, spine off a Romaine Lettuce. Make your own cookies from the dog food they are eating.....:D

DVP Natural Balance Duck & Potato biscuits are an allergy formula.
Potatoes, Duck, Molasses, Duck Meal, Canola Oil, Natural Flavor, Mixed Tocopherols, Cirtic Acid, Rosemary Extract.
They smell kind of like potato chips and dogs seem to love them.
