I've been building Cider more stuff..
This is her teeter so far (haha yes it's in pieces)
And the hoop jump I made and now dislike........
The worst.. What I've learned in making stuff I could improve in the future.. But I doubt I'll be needing to build identicals of stuff...
Unless I get a huge dog.. Since most of the stuff I built to 16" specs.. Rather than having it change to 4 heights..

That's all great. Very creative and productive of you... What does the dog do with the laundry tree?:D

Great shot of jumping through the hoop! I grew up with a blond cocker, Blondie. I used to hold the hula hoop from my side and she'd jump through it. Eventually, I just made a hoop with my arms. Cockers are incredible.

Cider isn't what I would have picked for myself.. But she amazes me, and has grown on me so much I'd love to rescue her a brother.. I originally cursed the grooming and her being so little.. but it was a happy accident it took a while to get there though. Happy to have saved her, but didn't think we meshed well..
The more I post her pics, the more people tell me they had cockers as kids and she looks like them. One lady on another board was apparently near tears she resembled her childhood one so much.. My dad was the same when I brought her home..
It's awesome to hear the great cocker stories.. In passing people usually only share the bad ones.. :o

It's the generation I'm from. Cockers became the #1 favorite dog when "Lady and the Tramp" came out. My Blondie saved my life when I was 10yr old. Wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her.

Great equipment! For the tire jump, I know a lot of people use a dryer hose as the hoop - and if you build a cross bar at the top of the jump, you can attach the hoop at three points - at the top, and on each side - for stability.
Cider has great style!

I was looking for cost cutting in part. PVC is expensive since no one but a plumbing only store carries it here. I looked at building a more elaborate hoop, but this was more economical, and seems better than what someone I know bought on afforable agility for twice as much as my materials cost.
Also, if she hits the hoop, it knocks a bit and lets her out, which I don't want in the long term, but she hasn't seen a hoop in a long time and is alright for now.
I looked at pool noodles, and drainpipe extention for a hoop, but I had a hula hoop in a regulation diameter, so it's alright. But thank you. Maybe I should come for suggestions on whatever I build next haha.
Glasslass, yeah I've heard due to Lady and the Tramp cockers gained popularity.. and became the number 1 dog in America for a while.. fueling byb's and more bad breeding.. which I guess equals people's awful experiences nowadays with cockers..
But it's nice to even hear childhood stories about them.. People often treat her the way I see people treat pitties.. 'Oh.. It's a cocker.. No sally you CANNOT touch it, they are evil." And you can't even say WTF cause it happened so fast...

OK, Lass, spill it. You know you can't say something like that without giving us the whole story! :D

My dog's hoop is held up with twist ties between two plastic lawn chairs... You're doing way better than I!

They are looking great hun! I might have to commision you to build some dane and chi sized agility equipment :)

*dies* Petfriendly.. OMG that rocks though. Needed to share that earlier! I had that hula hoop sittign in the corner for 2 months cause I wasn't inventive enough to pull that off damn. LOL.
Haha Liz. The chi sized stuff should be a snap. The dane sized stuff may be trial and error lol.
