Boxer Jaw Issues

Hi, new member here. About two weeks ago we took our seven year old female boxer to the vet to have two lumps removed, all her shots and teeth cleaned. After the stitches were removed I noticed the next day that her lower jaw was kind of hanging loose. When she drinks her water it seems like she licks for a long time and gets little water, the water also foams like crazy and she looks like an old man with a foam goatee. She is also having trouble eating her dry kibble as it tends to fall out of her mouth. Any ideas, as the vet is in the dark.... Thanks

have the vet check her ears, was any of the lumps on or around her face?

It sort of sounds like bell's palsy, a paralysis of the face which can also cause some paralysis of the tongue, sometimes it is just temporary condition and will go away on it's own, an inner ear infection can cause it as it put pressure on a underlying nerve. Pay attention to you dogs eyes as well as the paralysis can effect the eyelids and prevent normal blinking and an eye lubricant is then needed to keep the eye moist.

Thanks Greys, she did have a small weeping lump removed from her left ear flap. The vet has prescribed more antibiotics, so we'll see what develops. Thanks again for your help.
