Salmon juice

Is it acceptable to give cats the juice that I drain off of my canned salmon? They really love it and I only make up a can of salmon for myself once in a while. The ingrediets on the label are salmon and salt, so I'm assuming that the juice in the can is from the salmon itself, maybe the salt isn't so good for the cats. Any opinions?

So long as it is not a daily occurance and you aren't considering it dinner - then I don't see why not. There shouldn't be enough salt in it to do any damage and everyone needs a treat now and then. ;)

Cats are people too, after all.

I too give salmon juice to both my cats and dog! And for a very special treat, they get some of the fish to enjoy as well! :pawprint:

For some reason(probably smell)my cats know if I am opening a can of salmon,no matter how quiet I try to be.:D
They always get a few pieces of Salmon and a bit of the juice, but we don't have Salmon very often.
