Concern for my puppy

January 16th, 2004, 05:05 PM
I need some advice. I have a 2 month old puppy that seems to be very ill.
He is just laying on the floor and has some drool coming out of his mouth.
I can't make it to the vet as my car is inaccessable (vet is in another town).

Then I suggest you ASK to borrow a friends car.WE,the people on here cannot diagnose anything cause WE are not vets. And by the time a real VET answers your question,it just might be to late.

So PLEASE find a way yo get your puppy there.

Please keep us posted.

How are you going to feel when you find your puppy lying there DEAD????

Find a way to get to the vet, for gawd's sake!

I swear if I read one more "My dog/cat is dying/can't breath/can't walk etc. but of course I can't possibly take it to the vet cause it's too far/I have no money/I'm too cheap/I'm too lazy/I'm too irresponsible/my car is in the shop/my favorite soap opera is on...." I am going to barf.

Let's hope if YOU are lying there in this condition that someone doesn't say "Sorry, you'll just have to suffer cause MY CAR IS IN THE SHOP". And even then, YOU could call an ambulence. Your poor dog, unfortunately, has only YOU to count on.

Take the dog to the damn vet. I bet you'd find a way to get to the next town if there was something on sale you really wanted.

And then give this dog to someone responsible.
