She was just workin' it for all she was worth too. Great little show off and a total diva. :queen: jesse's mommy June 29th, 2006, 11:48 AM I like the three headed dog. Wonder where i can get costumes like that for Kita gurl! hahaha OntarioGreys June 29th, 2006, 06:17 PM Many rescues have annual reunions and as part of the fun they have assorted contests like costume contests, hot dog bobbing contests, owner or child and dog races, 50/50 raffles, silent auctions etc it usually includes a picnic or barbeque partly as a thankyou to adopter and a fundraiser for the rescue. Admission is often a donation of some sort to the resue like old blankets, towel, dog food, dog shampoos, laundry soap, prizes for the silent auction etc usually companies like Purina and Nutro will also make donations if asked, some have vendors who donates part of their sales to the rescue, and in some cases adoptables onsite as well, because most attendees are former adopters pre adoption screening is not needed. I been to both greyhound and all breed rescue reunions sometimes as a guest, former adopter or as a vendor. And pictures like those above are often taken at reunion events. Here are photos from one adoption reunion http://community.webshots.com/album/41944441TLAKXJ There are sewing patterns available for dog costumes For ex McCalls M4612 only one I can find now , there are some older patterns might have to search ebay then there are companies than sell costumes http://www.glamourdog.com/costumes.html http://www.kooldawgtees.com/dog_costumes.html http://www.catronfashion.com/ | ||||
